OSDP

OSDP is the platform's transport, not just the reader interface.

For most systems, OSDP is used as a modern replacement for Wiegand to connect readers. But in Seenaptec, OSDP is the core transport of the platform. It is used to exchange events, manage devices, perform centralized configuration, diagnostics, firmware updates, and secure data exchange between system components.

Maximum platform capabilities

AGRG equipment with Seenaptec Secure Bus (SSB) firmware utilizes all the platform's capabilities:

automatic device discovery;
template-based configuration;
centralized firmware updates;
advanced diagnostics;
secure device initialization;
automatic device addressing.

SSB devices are fully managed through the Seenaptec Access Platform and do not require specialized manufacturer utilities.
